The two sides welcome the signing of the intergovernmental MoU on jointly advancing the Belt and Road construction, said a joint communique issued by the two countries.

双方欢迎签署政府间关于共同推进“一带一起”培植的包涵备忘录。

The two sides realize the huge potential of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) in promoting connectivity, and stand ready to strengthen the alignment of the BRI and Trans-European Transport Networks and deepen the cooperation in ports, logistics, marine transportation and other areas, the communique said.

双方认识到“一带一起”倡议在促进互联互通方面的巨大潜力，愿加强“一带一起”倡议同泛欧交通运输网（TEN－T）等的对接，深化在港口、物流和海运领域的互助。

The two sides expressed willingness to join efforts under the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) to advance connectivity in line with the AIIB's mission and functions.

双方确认愿在亚洲根本举动步伐投资银行（AIIB）内共同努力，推动与亚投行宗旨与职能同等的互联互通。

More air links can be expected as the two sides agreed to facilitate airlines from each other to do business and ease the market access for them, according to the communique.

双方还表达了增加两国航线联系，为双方航空公司开展业务和进入对方市场供应便利的欲望。

新期间中意全面计策伙伴关系

China-Italy comprehensive strategic partnership in the new era

3月22日，***主席在罗马赞许大利总统马塔雷拉举行会商。
两国元首同等赞许，从计策高度和长远角度牢牢把握中意关系发展大方向，携手推动中意全面计策伙伴关系在新期间得到更大发展。

Xi said that both as countries with an ancient civilization, China and Italy have profound historical relations.

***指出，中意都是拥有残酷文化的文明古国。
两国关系有着深厚的历史积淀。

He recalled that for nearly half a century, China and Italy have respected, trusted and helped each other, enhanced high-level exchanges and strategic mutual trust, facilitated communication, cooperation and convergence of interests, and deepened mutual understanding and traditional friendship.

近半个世纪来，两国相互尊重、相互信赖、相互帮助，不断密切高层交往和计策互信，匆匆进互换互助亲睦处交融，深化相互理解和传统友情。

As the world is undergoing profound changes unseen in a century, China is willing to carry forward the spirit of cooperation with the Italian side, strengthen strategic communication, encourage the international community to seek common ground while reserving differences and promote development through cooperation, so as to contribute new wisdom and strength to building a better world, Xi said.

A fine example of friendly exchanges

3月24日，***主席同摩纳哥亲王阿尔贝二世举行会商。
这是中国国家主席首次访问摩纳哥。

Xi said China-Monaco relations are developing steadily, with bilateral practical cooperation keeping pace with the times and taking the lead in China-Europe cooperation in the fields of environmental protection, telecommunications and mobile payment.

***指出，当前，中摩双边关系稳步发展，务实互助与时俱进，尤其是在环保、电信、移动支付等新领域走在中欧互助前列。

Xi said China and Monaco have set a fine example of friendly exchanges between countries that are different in size and have different historical and cultural backgrounds and social systems.

中摩关系已成为不同大小、不同历史文化、不同社会制度国家友好交往的典范。

He called on the two sides to firmly grasp the correct direction of bilateral relations, constantly consolidate traditional friendship and political mutual trust, and strengthen communication, coordination and mutual support in the United Nations and on international affairs.

双方要牢牢把握双边关系的精确方向，不断巩固传统友情和政治互信，加强在联合国和国际事务中的沟通折衷和相互支持。

中法互助

China-France cooperation

3月24日晚，***主席在尼斯会见法国总统马克龙。
***强调，当前国际形势和两国关系都发生了很大变革，但有几点始终没有改变。

He said the importance China attaches to its relations with France has not changed. China has always regarded France as a priority partner of cooperation, and the two peoples keep a special friendship, he added.

一是中国对中法关系的重视始终没有改变。
中国一贯视法国为优先互助伙伴，两国公民有着分外友好感情。

\公众This is a valuable asset that we must inherit and carry forward to keep China-France relations at the forefront of the times,\"大众 Xi said.

这是一笔宝贵的财富，我们要继续好，发扬好，使中法关系连续走在时期发展前列。

Xi went on to say that the common pursuit for peace, development, fairness and justice has not changed.

二是中法对和平、发展、公正、正义的共同追求始终没有改变。

He said both China and France uphold the basic norms governing international relations underpinned by the purposes and principles of the UN Charter while practicing multilateralism and opposing protectionism and unilateralism in international affairs.

中法都主见掩护以联合国宪章宗旨和原则为根本的国际关系基本准则，在国际事务中奉行多边主义，反对保护主义、单边主义。

The mutually beneficial and win-win nature of China-France cooperation has not changed, Xi said.

三是中法互助互利共赢的属性始终没有改变。

\公众The history of China-France cooperation shows that bilateral ties are not 'a zero-sum game.' The strong complementarity between the two economies will remain for a long time,\"大众 Xi said, adding that China's sustained development and further opening-up will create a host of new opportunities as well as broader space for bilateral cooperation.

China-France comprehensive strategic partnership

3月25日，***主席在巴黎爱丽舍宫同法国总统马克龙会商。
两国元首同等赞许，承前启后，承前启后，在新的历史出发点上打造更加坚实、稳固、富有活力的中法全面计策伙伴关系（a more solid, stable and vibrant China-France comprehensive strategic partnership）。

Xi said that great changes have taken place in the international situation, but the China-France relations have always kept developing on a high level and in a sound and stable way.

This year is of special commemorative significance, as it marks the 55th anniversary of China-France diplomatic ties, the 100th anniversary of the Chinese Work-Study Movement in France, and also the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Xi said.

今年是一个具有分外纪念意义的年份，既是中法建交55周年和中国留法勤工俭学运动100周年，也是新中国成立70周年。

中德务实互助

China-Germany practical cooperation

3月26日，***主席在巴黎会见专程前来出席中法环球管理论坛闭幕式的德国***默克尔。
***指出，当前国际形势中不稳定性不愿定性上升，但中德务实互助仍保持稳定发展势头。

Under the current circumstances, the significance of strengthening China-Germany and China-EU cooperation is beyond the bilateral scope, Xi said, putting forward a three-point proposal on the next-stage development of China-Germany ties.

***强调，当前形势下，加强中德、中欧互助的意义已超越双边范畴。
***就下一步中德关系发展提出3点见地。

Firstly, the two countries should deepen their bilateral cooperation to set an example of win-win cooperation for the world, Xi said.

一是通过深化中德互助为天下树立互助共赢的典范。

Noting that China and Germany are not rivals nor adversaries, Xi said seeking win-win results through cooperation is the main thread in China-Germany ties, and urged the two sides to boost cooperation in such fields as artificial intelligence, automatic driving, new materials, new energy, life sciences and smart city.

中德不是竞争者，更不是对手，以互助谋共赢是中德关系发展的主线。
双方可以加大在人工智能、自动驾驶、新材料、新能源、生命科学、聪慧城市等领域互助。

Secondly, the Chinese president proposed that the two countries take the lead in China-EU cooperation to inject more stability into the world.

二是通过引领中欧互助为天下注入更多稳定成分。

With China and Europe being the world's two major forces of stability and two major economies, the steady growth of their relations conforms to the common interests of both sides, and is conducive to increasing stability in the complex and ever-changing world today, he said.

作为天下两大稳定力量和两大紧张经济体，中欧关系稳步前行符合双方共同利益，也有利于为当前繁芜多变的天下注入更多稳定性。

Thirdly, the two countries should jointly advance global governance to safeguard multilateralism, Xi said.

三是通过共同推进环球管理掩护多边主义。

China is willing to work with Germany to uphold the international system with the United Nations at its core, he said, urging the two sides to enhance coordination within the framework of the Group of Twenty to make greater contributions to improving global economic governance.

中方愿同德方一道掩护以联合国为核心的国际体系。
双方应加强在二十国集团框架下的紧密折衷，为完善环球经济管理作出更大贡献。

环球管理

Global governance

3月26日，***主席在巴黎同法国总统马克龙一道出席中法环球管理论坛闭幕式并揭橥致辞。
***在致辞中强调，面对百年未有之大变局，面对严厉的环球性寻衅，面对人类发展在十字路口何去何从的决议，各国该当积极做行动派、不做不雅观望者，共同努力把人类出息命运节制在自己手中。

Firstly, the Chinese president called for fairness and reasonableness to address the governance deficit.

一要坚持公道合理，破解管理赤字。

It is advisable to uphold a vision of global governance featuring extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits and the principle that global affairs should be settled by the peoples of the world through consultation, Xi said, calling for actively advancing the democratization of global governance rules.

要坚持共商共建共享的环球管理不雅观，坚持环球事务由各国公民商量着办，积极推进环球管理规则民主化。

Secondly, Xi called for consultation and understanding to address the trust deficit.

二要坚持互商互谅，破解信赖赤字。

It is advisable to put mutual respect and mutual trust in the first place, make use of dialogue and consultation, seek common ground while shelving and narrowing differences, increase strategic trust, and reduce mutual suspicion, Xi said.

要把互尊互信挺在前头，把对话协商利用起来，坚持求同存异、聚同化异，匆匆进计策互信，减少相互猜疑。

Thirdly, he called for joint efforts and mutual assistance to address the peace deficit.

三要坚持志同志合，破解和平赤字。

It is advisable to uphold a new vision of common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security, discard Cold-War and zero-sum mentalities, reject the law of the jungle, and settle conflicts through peaceful ways, he said. He also called for rejecting such approaches as beggaring thy neighbor and seeking benefits at the expense of others.

要秉持共同、综合、互助、可持续的新安全不雅观，摒弃冷战和零和博弈旧思维，摒弃丛林法则，坚持以和平办法办理争端，反对移祸于人、损人利己。

Fourthly, Xi called for mutual benefit and win-win results to address the development deficit.

四要坚持互利共赢，破解发展赤字。

It is advisable to pursue an innovation-driven, well-coordinated and inter-connected, and fair and inclusive approach and forge a growth model of vitality, a cooperation model of openness and win-win results, and a development model of balance and common benefits, so that people from across the world could share the benefits of economic globalization, Xi said.

要坚持创新驱动、协同联动、公正原谅，打造富有活力的增长模式、开放共赢的互助模式、平衡普惠的发展模式，让天下各国公民共享经济环球化发展成果。
